Details Information:
Ron was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1968 from the University of Hawaii ‘s ROTC Program. He served a tour in Vietnam, then returned to Hawaii to join the US Army Reserves with the 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry. During his time in the Battalion, he held the position of Commander for Combat Support Company and the S-1, Personnel Officer. Ron served 28 years in the Army, retiring from the 9th Regional Support Command as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Ron was a Life Member in the Go Fo Broke Association. He was the President twice and served seven times as either a Secretary or Treasurer, and as Co-Chairman for the Annual Membership Dinner Meeting, 1978 – 2013.
